SING

From the classic hymn, “We’re Marching To Zion”, are these powerful lyrics…” Then let our songs abound and every tear be dry.  We’re marching through Immanuel’s ground to fairer worlds on high.”

Worship has been a part of every century as a natural expression of praise.  Not certain to whom the focus is always on, but nevertheless there’s an instinct within everyone to express appreciation.

The Psalms record songs written in praise & adoration.  Later hymns became our passionate articulation of beliefs.  There are times rhythm guitars lead us into a folksier demonstration, or there’s one of my favorite’s - the sound of hundred-voice choirs in a cathedral.  Regardless, the familiarity of the lyrics or music, our souls are lifted in worship.

Having visited various nations over my life-time, music brings everyone together in true worship to God.  Musical styles will change, but one thing remains – PRAISE & GLORY TO GOD will last throughout all eternity.

So, let our songs continue.  Raise your voice and SING!
