Leadership Questions

Psalm 137:1-6

“By the rivers of Babylon, there we sat down, yea, we wept when we remembered Zion.  How shall we sing the Lord’s songs in a foreign land?  If I forget you, O Jerusalem, let my right hand forget its skill!  If I do not remember you, let my tongue cling to the roof of my mouth – if I do not exalt Jerusalem above my chief joy.”

The Jews were exiled to Babylon – no wonder they cried!

They couldn’t forget Zion, the land of their birth – no wonder they sang!

They hoped and prayed for the day they’d return home – that’s why they dreamed!

So, as a leader…

What is it you would do if you didn’t have to fear failure or rejection?  What would you dream about?

Are there specific burdens touch you and drive you to be more passionate?  What makes you cry?

What causes you to rejoice?  What do you sing about?
