BAD TO BLESSING

BAD TO BLESSING

Psalm 20:1  (NIV)

1 May the Lord answer you when you are in distress;
    may the name of the God of Jacob protect you.

In the song, Day By Day, these lyrics were written…”Help me then in every tribulation, so to trust Thy promise, O Lord.”

Bad days are the worst and no one is exempt.  Have you ever considered that your bad day might just be a blessing?  We’ve all been running late to work, only to find traffic is backed up all because of a car accident.  Think about it…had you been on time, that might have been you and your car.

Life throws unexpected circumstances that seem poorly timed and so inconvenient.  Yet what we don’t see are the “almost” that God has shielded us from.

The Bible doesn’t say “if” trouble comes; it says “when” trouble comes.  So, while troubles are guaranteed, be thankful: God is able to use even the bad days to bless you?  Trust Him in it, even if you can’t see the blessing beyond the difficulty.

Lord, help me look for today’s blessings in disguise!
